The Front Fire Bar is also known as the Log Retainer, Log Retaining Bar and Fuel Retainer and is designed to keep the fuel within the Stove Grate area and within the ‘sweet point’ inside the stove chamber to allow for maximum fuel combustion. The height on the Front Fire Bar allows fuel to be stacked inside the stove safely.
The Front Fire Bar also prevents the fuel from rolling onto the Stove Glass and prevents the fuel falling from the stove when the Stove Door is open for re-fuelling.
Tip: Replace the Front Fire Bar once it is showing signs of twisting as it may not prevent fuel rolling onto the Stove Glass. It may also hinder the door from closing appropriately.
